Stay Positive – #WordFortheWeek

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

– Romans 8:28, KJV

To stay positive means to give faith and to believe that GOD will make all things work together for your good because you love Him and you are called according to His purpose. God expects you to stay positive in the midst of trials, obstacles, problems, dilemmas, maladies, circumstances and challenges because experience is not what happens to you but the lessons you learn and how you handle what happens to you. When the storms of life hit you, stay positive and stand firm. What matters is your willingness to diagnose the challenges and set a program for remodelling. Your attitude to change and your resolution to be better than you are today will determine your staying positive. You need to remember that no matter what happens to you, you can have the confidence that God is in COMPLETE control. He is always in charge. You can handle any trial that comes your way by the grace of God. Do you know that God will not give a trial that you cannot bear?

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

– I Corinthians 10:13, NKJV

Be thankful because God is showing you that you are strong enough to handle such a problem. You can have the confidence that God “will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” And God didn’t want you to be discouraged or give up but to witness God’s miraculous power of making a way of escape. How can you see how God will solve your problem? It is when you stay positive. How can you witness the way God will fight your battles for you? Therefore, be steadfast, patient, and courageous to stay positive.

May the Lord help you to stay positive in the face of contrary situations in the name of Jesus. Amen.
