Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
– Luke 10:19, KJV
Jesus knew that we would need all this power to continue kingdom work. Jesus sent out the disciples. They returned with news of casting out demons. They were surprised that even the demons were subject to them in His name. There was a sense of excitement as they saw God using them to set people free. When you seek the kingdom, God will provide things and release kingdom power into your life. When someone receives salvation, the Holy Spirit is the agent who in-fills that person with Jesus and when the baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs, Jesus is the agent who in-fills that person with kingdom power.
Insight: Holy Spirit speaks to us if we will quiet ourselves and listen. Through the kingdom power, Holy Spirit is praying for God’s perfect will for us and bringing the light of Jesus to this dark world.
Prayer: Father, empower me with kingdom power to do exploits in life and ministry in the name of Jesus.
