And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do

– Genesis 18:17, KJV

One of the great evidences of God’s presence in a life is His guidance. Your usefulness to God depends on your guidance by the Spirit and your empowerment by the Spirit. Measure your nearness to God by your guidance. The closer you live to God, the more you understand the things that please Him, and the more you share His Spirit so that your touch at times becomes like words of God to them. The closer your fellowship is with God, the more He shares His plans and purposes with you. You become a friend of God like Abraham. If you are deaf to spiritual things, you will have difficulty understanding God even when He speaks in thunder tones. But if your spiritual hearing is good, you will seldom be conscious of God’s guidance in prayer.

Insight: Measure the frequency of guidance in your spiritual lifestyle, especially a special prayer burden for a person, church, family and group.

Prayer: Father,engrace my life with guidance daily in the name of Jesus.
