Daily Delight Devotional – Tuesday, September 19 2023

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

– Jeremiah 29:11, KJV

God is a God of constant planning and multiple plans for His children. He plans not only for your spiritual welfare, but also for your home life, your work, your financial future, and in fact, for all your needs.

God constantly thinks of you, loves you and plans for you. You are in constant need of His guiding help so that you get the full benefits and blessings of all His plans. God’s plans for you are not static. If you have missed part of His plan for you, He is still eager to begin where you are today and adapts His plans to the best possible sequence from where you are now. If you make one mistake, this does not destroy all of God’s purpose for you. Be encouraged and be of good courage because God has not stopped His planning for you.

God’s will is not disagreeable. His will becomes the joy of those who are surrendered and Spirit-filled. Love God, depend on His plans for you, and sometimes permit painful procedures, but it is only to make you whole and happy. He plans to give you a great future. He is the divine planner you need. Seek and follow Him.

Insight: God is eternally sovereign over all. He is able to coordinate what is best for you with what is best for others and for His total plan.

Prayer: Father, help me to walk in your plans for my life in the name of Jesus.
