And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward
– Genesis 13:14, KJV
God told Abram “from the place where thou art“. You can see the miracle right beside where you are. God did not make a mistake in locating you where you are. It is from that place He wants to begin to expand and enlarge and increase you. You may be in a place where you feel disadvantaged and limited yet God wants you to start “from the place where thou art”.
You may be under someone or in charge of a project that is not your own. It is an opportunity to prove yourself in that which is another man’s so that God may give you that which is your own. Start “from the place where thou art”.
If you are not faithful in that which is another man’s, God will not commit to your trust to that which is your own. Don’t despise the days of small beginnings. If you are faithful in little, much will be committed to you. If you are not faithful in little, nobody will give you much. Be faithful and diligent at “the place where thou art” today. You are planting your seed of greatness. Your harvest will certainly come.
Insight: The vision of God for your life begins “from the place where thou art“. It may take you to the ends of the earth but the place where you are is the starting point. Do not be in a hurry. Wait for it. It will surely come.
Prayer: Father, speak to me from where I am to get to the place you have for me in the name of Jesus.
