The Hand of Betrayal – #DailyDelightDevotional

But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

Luke 22:21 (KJV)

When Jesus said, “the hand of him that will betray me is on this table,” He knew who the betrayer was, but the disciples didn’t. He used this figurative language to indicate the difficulty in identifying the betrayer, much like it is challenging to recognize someone solely by their hand. Betrayal can be hard to detect. Beware of individuals who may appear righteous but harbour darkness within. Developing the spirit of discernment is crucial to recognize potential betrayal.

Is there anyone around you planning harm without your knowledge? Maintain a watchful posture. The Bible urges us to be sober and vigilant since the devil seeks to devour.

Insight: Stay watchful to avoid becoming prey to betrayal.

Prayer: Father, grant me discernment to recognize any potential betrayal around me in the name of Jesus.
