But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. – 2 Corinthians 11:3 (KJV)

Satan fed Eve’s mind with lots of negative information until she decided to disobey God. She doubted the Word of God and believed the lies of the devil. Her mind was corrupted from the simplicity which resided in it before the time of the fall. What happened to Eve has happened to several other people today. More and more people are having their minds corrupted and shifted away from the simplicity of the gospel. The moment that happens, the devil has succeeded in removing your feet from the solid rock. To stand on slippery ground is to fall. You need spiritual covering for your mind. You must ensure that the totality of your life is not the property of the devil.

When you get born again, you need the word of God to wipe off every old debris of your former life. As you continue to renew your mind through the word of God, you will begin to experience wonderful changes in your life. The Word of God challenges every believer to renew their mind through the Word of God. You are under spiritual covering regularly and constantly learning and studying the word of God.

Insight: Satan fights to capture the hearts of men and women. The believers fight a good fight of faith to keep the word of God in their hearts daily.

Prayer: Father, my mind shall go back to the resting place for new levels in the name of Jesus.
