The Appointer and the Appointed – #WordFortheWeek

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

– Genesis 1:26

God reproduced Himself in the form of Man; He created and appointed man to make an impact in his immediate environment and to reflect His glory, beauty, majesty, and power. The man had a five-fold mission on the earth: He was to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it, and have dominion over all other creatures.

Everything you will ever need to live a comfortable, peaceful life had already been put in place before you were born. When you discover your place in the kingdom, you will no longer be content to live an ordinary life. Nothing happening in your life can take God by surprise. He who has planned everything you can ever need in life has already foreseen every problem and circumstance that can ever come your way and prepared solutions for them.

the appointed,

Too many people are being tossed about by the devil in this generation. Too many people are hurting God’s heart because they are not living the victorious lives for which they were appointed. Ignorance has brought men into captivity. You have received the power to live your life in a new dimension. You no longer have to live a beggarly, defeated life. You are to live in a realm of abundance.

God is still in search of a man or woman to appoint who will walk after the dictates of His heart, a person who will take His dream and run with it, someone who will not desire to do their own will but the will of God. Let Him find such a person in you in this coming year. God has appointed you and expects you to live like Christ by faith, seated in heavenly places above powers and principalities.

Your understanding of your position in God will either enable you to walk as a god or die like a mere man. “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” – Psalms 82:6.

You can be victorious, joyful, and sickness-free all the days of your life. May you begin to walk in the fullness of God’s glory, power, and honour in the name of Jesus.
