Daily Delight Devotional – Friday, December 15, 2023

My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

Psalm 119:25 (KJV)

Take your time to search the Scriptures, the Bible – the Word of God. Find solace in the Word. In real turbulence that may be going on in your life, or affects your person deeply. At such a time, your only sure anchor is the Word of God. Not only will it sustain and strengthen you, but it will give you hope. It will give you comfort. The Word of God is the solid rock upon which you stand amid storms. In Psalm 119, David had a real practical blessing. He experienced how the Word of God can sustain amid storms. When the going got tough, and everything caved in, he held on to the Word of God. Your inheritance is in the Word.

Insight: It is the Word that will build you and give you an inheritance among those who are sanctified.

Prayer: Father, empower me by your word and to stay and search your word daily in the name of Jesus.
