A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

Proverbs 18:16 (KJV)

You can make it if only you can discover your gift. There is a gift in you that is beyond the training of education, beyond the influence of experience, and beyond the impact of your environment. It is the planting of the Lord in your life that can turn you from a nobody to a somebody. Joseph had the gift of interpreting dreams, and in the day of trouble, it delivered him. David had his gift of music, and this was what brought him into the palace. No matter where you live or what you do for a living, God has put certain things in place to ensure that you can make it in life if only you are interested. It is a seed that can keep you from going hungry – it is the gift of God.

Insight: In order to prosper, you must be able to identify your gift – your natural endowments and put them to work for you.

Prayer: Father, help me to discover my hidden gifts and use them to profit me in the name of Jesus.
