We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and his mighty wonders.

– Psalm 78:4, NLT

God’s love is eternal. It transcends individual lifetimes. It leaves an unforgettable imprint on future generations. However, this is only if there is the intentional act of sharing the praiseworthy acts of our God, His power, and His wonders with those who come after us.

We are stewards of God’s love and as such, we have the privilege and responsibility to shape the future by passing down the legacy of God’s love, His grace, and His compassion. It also involves living out our faith before our children and those who look up to us, by modeling Christ’s love through our actions and imparting wisdom and values that reflect God’s character.

If we fail we will raise a generation of people who are arrogant about the Lord, a generation that does not know the Lord. And this is one of the reasons God was a friend to Abraham. God testified about Him that He will command His children to keep God’s ways. The seeds of our actions today is an investment for the days to come.

Insight: As stewards of God’s love, we have the responsibility to shape the future by intentionally passing down the legacy of God’s love, grace, and compassion.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, may my life be a testament to Your unfailing love, shaping the future with Your grace and compassion.
