How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.

A divine appointment is a moment orchestrated by God for encountering Him or a circumstance that you realize has been set up by the Holy Spirit. It’s a miraculous moment, much like when Jacob stumbled into a divine appointment.

Sometimes, a divine appointment is unexpected! It’s only during or afterwards that you realize its significance. Jacob, lying on the hard ground at night, had a dream. He saw a staircase from heaven to earth, with angels travelling up and down. God Almighty stood above, revealing Jacob’s identity, purpose, and destiny. When he woke, he realized, “This place is not what I thought.” He had stumbled into a divine appointment.

Divine appointments often occur when you’re at the end of your capabilities. It’s God’s grace, saying, Where you are — this place, this moment, this season in your life: I am with you. Enter into your divine appointment of complete restoration.

You may have ended up somewhere unexpected, in a dry or challenging place. You may feel vulnerable in some way but God says, “This is your place of divine appointment.” Whether it’s in ministry, business, job, marriage, etc., that seems difficult and turbulent, your encounter with God can turn your distress into wonders.

When God interrupts darkness with His glory, your heart will turn towards Him in worship. Today, anticipate and expect your divine appointment as God gives you grace to rename your location (Exodus 15:25) from bitterness to sweetness, from barrenness to fruitfulness, from poverty to prosperity.

This is your place of divine appointment. God is in your location! May you enter into divine appointments for wonders from now until the end of this year with the oil of finishing in the name of Jesus.
