A family prayer altar is one of the most powerful tools for building a spiritual stronghold in your home. A family that prays together, stays together. When a family prays together, they create an atmosphere where God’s presence, His peace, and protection abide. After making Jesus central in your home, the next step is to invite your household to join you in that commitment.

Jesus assured us that when two or three gather in His name, He is present with them. This emphasizes the power of agreement in prayer. When family members come together to pray, their petitions as united carry great spiritual weight.

The family prayer altar is a gathering and an intentional time where the family comes together to seek God. It has to be consistent as you are offering an incense of worship and unity before God. When you make family prayer altar a priority, you are creating a spiritual legacy for generations. Children raised in a praying home learn the value of prayer and grow to build their personal prayer altars. The seed you plant today in your family will grow to become a great tree which will in turn become a great forest.
