Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
– Proverbs 16:18
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
– Ephesians 4:32
Flee sexual immorality.
– 1 Corinthians 6:18
Marriages often don’t collapse in a day, it happens through small cracks left unattended. Pride, offence, lack of communication, or unresolved wounds create distance and resentment. When couples fail to confront these early, they leave space for the enemy to sow division.
Forgiveness, transparency, and humility are critical to protecting the marital bond. Holding on to offence or ignoring emotional needs leads to isolation, even when living under the same roof. A Kingdom couple must be intentional about repairing breaches quickly.
Guard your marriage like a precious garden, weed out sin, water with love, and protect it with prayer. Your future depends on your vigilance.
Insight: What you ignore today may damage your bond tomorrow, so stay alert.
Prayer: Lord, help us be honest about the things threatening our connection. Give us courage to deal with them and grace to forgive each other.
