But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

– 2 Peter 3:18

Growth doesn’t happen by accident. You don’t just wake up mature. You must choose to grow. Peter tells us to grow in grace and in knowledge. That means you must make it your goal to become better in Christ every day.

Read the Word. Spend time in prayer. Learn from mature believers. Serve in your church. Accept correction. These are all ways to grow. Don’t just live life carelessly. Grow on purpose.

When you grow, you change. You become stronger in faith, wiser in decisions, and more useful to God. Don’t stay where you are. Press forward. Let every day bring you closer to full manhood in Christ.

Insight: Growth is not automatic. It must be intentional.

Prayer: Lord, I choose to grow. Help me to take steps every day that lead to spiritual maturity. Make me more like Jesus. Amen.
