Daily Delight Devotional – Monday, June 16, 2025

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 1:27

From the beginning, God had a clear plan for man. He created man in His image and gave him the responsibility to lead, love, and take care of what He made. Man was created for purpose and not just for pleasure.

God gave man everything he needed—wisdom, strength, and His presence. He placed him in the garden to work and to watch over it. This shows that man was made to be productive and protective.

Even though the world has changed, God’s plan for man has not. Real manhood is not about showing power but about living with purpose. God is still looking for men who will reflect His image in their families and in the world.

Insight: You were created for more. Don’t let culture define what God already designed.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me to live like the man You designed me to be. Teach me to reflect Your image in all I do. Amen.
