And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land…

– Ezekiel 22:30

God is not searching for the richest man or the most popular one. He is searching for a man who will take responsibility and stand in prayer for his family, his church, and his nation.

To be a man in God’s eyes means standing in the gap. It means loving and leading with care. It means speaking up when it is right, and praying even when no one sees you.

God is still calling men today to take their place. Will you be that man?

Insight: God honours the man who takes responsibility in love and prayer.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be the man who stands in the gap for my family and community. Amen.
