But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

– Hebrews 5:14

God wants us to grow. We should not stay the same. Growing in faith means learning more about God and doing what pleases Him. Mature people know what is right and choose it.

Maturity takes time and practice. You need to keep reading the Bible, praying, and learning from others. As you do this, your thoughts and choices begin to change. You start living the way God wants you to live.

Growth helps you make good decisions. It helps you walk in God’s will and receive His promise. Don’t stay where you are. Keep learning and keep growing.

Insight: Maturity helps you know what is right and gives you the strength to do it.

Prayer: Lord, help me to grow in my faith. Teach me your ways and help me make good choices. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
