Pray With Persistence – #DailyDelightDevotional

Daily Delight Devotional – Thursday, July 31 2025

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.

— Luke 18:1

Jesus taught that we should always pray and not give up.
Persistent prayer is part of how we possess what God has promised.
Delay is not denial.

John Newton said, “God nothing does, nor suffers to be done, but what we would do ourselves if we could see the end from the beginning.”
This helps us trust God’s timing. He is working even when we cannot see it.

Smith Wigglesworth prayed over a man for 20 years. Then the man was healed.
Persistence was not ignored; preparation was underway.

Insight: Keep praying until the answer comes. God is working while you wait.

Prayer: Lord, give me strength to pray without quitting. I trust Your timing and Your wisdom in Jesus’ name, Amen.
