Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise…

– Proverbs 6:6–8

Saving protects you and gives you the chance to invest. Start by opening a savings account if you do not have one. Keep an emergency fund of at least three months of basic expenses. After that, move from saving to simple investments.

The sermon listed three broad places to put money: money market products like savings and fixed deposits, capital market options like stocks and mutual funds, and real estate like land or a house. Learn about each type and start small. Use professionals for advice when you need it.

The key is to change your thinking from only spending today to building value for tomorrow.

Insight: Saving is the first step. Investing grows savings into long-term value.

Prayer: Father, help me to build a savings habit. Give me wisdom to choose safe ways to invest and grow what You have given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
