Daily Delight Devotional – Tuesday, September 16, 2025

So Abram went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he pitched his tents. There he built an altar to the Lord.

– Genesis 13:18

God asked Abraham to step outside his tent to see the stars. That was a picture of his future. Like Abraham, many of us stay too long in our “tents”—comfort zones, past mistakes, painful experiences, or even past successes. These things can block us from seeing God’s promises.

Your tent could be fear, discouragement, rejection, or a situation you refuse to move away from. If you stay there, you limit what God wants to show you. But when you step out, you begin to see new opportunities. God directs the steps of His children and delights in every detail of their lives.

Insight: To see God’s promises, you must leave your comfort zone and step into faith.

Prayer: Father, give me courage to step out of my tent. Help me to trust Your direction for my future. Amen.
