And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

– Habakkuk 2:2

Vision is a clear picture of the future God has prepared for you. Without vision, life becomes empty and without focus. However, vision alone is not enough. Many people have visions but never fulfil them because they fail to take the right steps.

God does not want your vision to be a daydream. He wants it to become a reality. That is why He tells us to write it down and make it plain. When you put your vision into writing, you can return to it, measure progress, and keep running toward it. Vision gives you focus and energy to move forward.

Insight: Vision without action is daydreaming. Vision written and followed brings progress.

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to see Your vision for my life. Give me wisdom to keep it clear and follow it faithfully. Amen.
