Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

– Romans 5:12

God did not make you for sickness. Sickness came into the world when sin entered through Adam. But Jesus came to save you from sin and also from the effects of sin, which include sickness and pain.

When Jesus died on the cross and rose again, He broke the power of sin and sickness. He paid the full price so you can live close to God and also live in health. You are no longer under the old curse. You are now under God’s blessing.

Today, see yourself as someone who is redeemed. Say, “Jesus paid for my life and my health.” Let this truth sit in your heart. God’s plan is not that you fall sick again and again, but that you grow strong in Him.

Insight: Jesus redeemed you from sickness as well as from sin.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for paying the price for my health and my life.
