Daily Delight Devotional – Friday, December 5, 2025

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

– Luke 10:19

Jesus has given you authority over the power of the enemy. Sickness is one of the works of the enemy. You do not have to sit quietly and accept everything that comes against your body and mind.

When pain or fear shows up, you can speak God’s Word with boldness. You can say, “In the name of Jesus, I stand against this sickness.” You can bind what is not of God and loose His will over your life, just as Matthew 18:18 teaches.

Today, use your mouth as a tool of faith. Speak life over your body. Speak strength over your mind. Stand on the truth that Jesus has given you power over all the power of the enemy.

Insight: Jesus gave you authority, so you can resist sickness in His name.

Prayer: Lord, help me to use the authority You gave me over sickness and fear.
