You are the salt of the earth.

— Matthew 5:13

Jesus described believers as the salt of the earth. Salt brings flavour and preservation. In the same way, God expects believers to bring influence and transformation to the world.

However, salt is only useful when it leaves the container. If it stays hidden, it cannot change anything. Many believers remain silent about their faith and avoid influencing their environment.

God did not design your life to remain hidden. He wants your life to impact people around you. Your words, actions, and character should bring light into dark places.

Today, choose not to hide your faith. Let your life influence others for good.

Insight: Your life is meant to influence the world.

Prayer: Lord, help me live in a way that brings positive influence wherever I go.
