We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.

— Psalm 78:4

God never intended for one generation to keep His goodness to themselves. He desires every generation to tell the next about His faithfulness, power, and truth.

Children and young people are constantly learning. They learn from conversations, observations, experiences, and examples. If parents and spiritual leaders fail to teach them God’s truth, other voices will fill that gap.

Teaching the next generation goes beyond giving instructions. It includes teaching prayer, integrity, honesty, respect, discipline, and a love for God’s Word. These values help establish a strong spiritual foundation that will guide them throughout life.

Today, look for opportunities to share God’s truth with someone younger than you.

Insight: The next generation must be taught God’s truth intentionally.

Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom and grace to teach godly values to the next generation.
