“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.”
Proverbs 21:5 —
Money without a plan rarely produces lasting results. A budget is simply a written plan that tells your money where to go before it arrives. Without a plan, spending becomes emotional, and important priorities are often neglected.
God is a God of order. He expects His children to manage resources intentionally. A financial plan helps you provide for your family, honour God through giving, prepare for emergencies, eliminate debt, and build toward future goals.
Every household should have a spending plan. Assign every amount a purpose. Remember that if you do not direct your money wisely, someone else will gladly direct it through advertising, impulse buying, or unnecessary expenses.
Financial planning is not about restricting your life. It is about creating freedom and avoiding unnecessary stress.
Today, begin creating a simple financial plan that reflects God’s wisdom and your long-term goals.
Insight: A written financial plan brings direction, discipline, and peace.
Prayer: Lord, give me the wisdom and discipline to plan my finances carefully and manage every resource with excellence.
