“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.”
Proverbs 16:3 —
Money is a powerful tool, but it was never designed to become the purpose of our lives. God blesses His children so that they can glorify Him, care for their families, support His Kingdom, bless others, and leave a lasting legacy. When money is disconnected from God’s purpose, it often becomes a source of pride, anxiety, or distraction. But when it is aligned with His purpose, it becomes an instrument of blessing.
Every resource God gives you should have an assignment. Some should be dedicated to honoring God through giving. Some should meet your family’s needs. Some should be saved for the future. Some should be invested to create greater opportunities. Some should be used to bless people in need and advance the work of God’s Kingdom.
Financial dominion is not measured by how much money passes through your hands. It is measured by how faithfully you manage what God has entrusted to you. Miracles may open the door to increase, but godly systems keep that door open for generations.
As you conclude this week’s devotional, remember that God is building more than your bank account. He is building your character, your discipline, your wisdom, and your legacy. Every wise financial decision is preparing you for greater responsibility.
Ask God to help you become the kind of steward He can trust with lasting abundance. As you remain faithful, He will establish the work of your hands, enlarge your capacity, and use your resources to bring glory to His name and blessing to many generations.
Insight: Financial dominion is fulfilled when every resource is aligned with God’s purpose.
Prayer: Father, let every blessing You place in my hands be used for Your glory. Teach me to give generously, save wisely, spend carefully, invest faithfully, and leave a legacy that advances Your Kingdom. Establish the work of my hands and make me a faithful steward of every resource You entrust to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
