“For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7 —
When Samuel came to Jesse’s house, David was not even invited to the meeting. Everyone else seemed more qualified to become king.
But God had already chosen David.
People may overlook you because of your age, background, education, appearance, past, or present position. But God does not see the way people see.
David was looking after sheep while God was preparing him for a kingdom.
You do not need human approval before God can begin His work in your life. Your purpose does not depend on everyone recognizing you.
What matters most is the condition of your heart.
Keep growing in character. Remain faithful. Serve God sincerely. Do what is right even when nobody is watching.
When God decides it is time for your next season, He knows exactly where to find you.
Do not become discouraged because others seem to be moving ahead while you are still waiting. God has not forgotten you.
You may feel unseen by people, but you are fully seen by God.
Insight: Human recognition is not required for God’s purpose to be fulfilled.
Prayer: Father, keep my heart right before You. Help me remain faithful even when I feel overlooked, knowing that You see me and know Your plans for my life.
