“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
Exodus 14:14 —
There are battles in life that remind us how much we need God’s help.
When the children of Israel stood before the Red Sea, they had water in front of them and Pharaoh’s army behind them.
Everything around them suggested that escape was impossible.
But God made a way where there appeared to be no way.
King Jehoshaphat also faced an army that was stronger than his own. Instead of depending only on military strength, he turned to God in prayer.
God reminded him that the battle belonged to Him.
These stories teach us that we must never leave God out of our challenges.
When you face a difficult situation, do not allow fear to control your decisions.
Pray first. Ask God for wisdom. Listen for His direction and obey the instructions He gives you.
Trusting God does not mean refusing to act. It means allowing Him to lead your actions.
You may not know how everything will work out, but you can trust the One who sees beyond your present circumstances.
The battle may be greater than your strength, but it is not greater than God’s power.
Insight: When we depend on God and follow His direction, we can face difficult battles with courage and confidence.
Prayer: Father, fight for me in every battle beyond my strength. Remove fear from my heart and give me wisdom to follow Your direction. Let Your power and faithfulness be revealed in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
