“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Ephesians 6:11 —
Victory in our daily lives requires spiritual preparation.
Just as a soldier does not enter a battle without proper equipment, we must learn to prepare ourselves spiritually for the challenges of each day.
The Bible encourages us to put on the whole armour of God.
This includes truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God.
These are not just things to know. They are truths we must practise in our daily lives.
Begin your day with God. Before becoming occupied with messages, work, and responsibilities, spend time praying and reading His Word.
Even five minutes of sincere prayer and Scripture reading can help you begin your day with the right focus.
When fear comes, remember God’s promises. When temptation comes, choose what is right. When discouragement comes, strengthen your heart with His Word.
Jesus overcame temptation by declaring, “It is written.”
You too must learn to speak God’s Word over your life and circumstances.
Do not wait until the battle becomes difficult before you begin preparing spiritually.
Stay connected to God and remain strong in faith.
Insight: Daily spiritual preparation strengthens our faith and helps us stand firm during life’s challenges.
Prayer: Father, help me remain spiritually prepared every day. Strengthen me through Your Word, increase my faith, and give me grace to stand against every temptation and challenge. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
