Daily Delight Devotional – Monday, November 13, 2023

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Daniel 3:25 (KJV)

When Nebuchadnezzar looked into the furnace, he witnessed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego dancing on hot coals, supernaturally protected by the Son of God (Jesus). Despite being thrown in there, they were not alone. The king inquired of his men, “How many men did we throw in there?” The reply was “Three.”

Every child of God possesses divine protection that the world does not possess. God surrounds His children with an invisible shield, guarding them against the devil’s attacks. The Scriptures affirm that though thousands fall at your side, no harm will befall you (Psalm 91). God’s protection envelops those who walk in a covenant relationship with Him, ensuring they come through life’s trials victoriously. Covered by the blood of Jesus, the devil cannot breach that protection.

Insight: You will lack no protection, for He is your Shepherd, and you are the sheep of His pasture. You are divinely protected.

Prayer: Father, shield me from every evil and protect me from daily dangers, in the name of Jesus.
