But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

Jeremiah 1:7

Poor self-image is an enemy that convinces you that you are incapable of anything good in life. It constantly undermines your worth, often based on your background, past experiences, location, lack of opportunities, or even the colour of your skin. Refuse to let past events stifle your goals or self-image. Turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Don’t accommodate this enemy; you are redeemed. See yourself in the image of God, for you were made in His likeness.

Insight: Overcome poor self-image by finding your identity in God, primarily through meditating on His Word.

Prayer: Father, help me overcome every poor self-image in the name of Jesus.
