Daily Delight Devotional – Saturday, December 30, 2023

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

Proverbs 22:29 (KJV)

There is dignity in labor, and diligence is the way to excellence in life. A diligent person is destined to stand in high places and enjoy the throne. The portion of a diligent individual is kingship and prosperity. God has promised to bless the work of your hands, but your hands must be found doing something so that His Word can go into operation. Prosperity comes to those who diligently engage in labour and bring forth the fruit of diligence in business. Those who are diligently dignified keep borrowing far from their doorstep. If the measure of a person’s labour is laziness and indolence, the fruit will be poverty. On the other hand, if their labour is characterized by hard work and diligence, the fruit will be success and prosperity.

Insight: Diligence is the vehicle you need to reach your destiny.

Prayer: Father, grace me to be diligent so that life becomes a straight road for me, in the name of Jesus.
