…they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.

Sometimes sickness repeats in families. People may say, “This is how our family is.” But God says you can live a new story. In Christ, you are not trapped by the past.

Jacob had a new name and a new life with God. He did not stay in the old way. God gave him a fresh start. God can also give you a new path.

So speak your new identity. Say, “I am free in Christ. I will live in health.” Believe that God’s power in you is greater than any old pattern.

Insight: Your life in Christ is new, and sickness does not own your future.

Prayer: Lord, help me to live in my new identity and walk in health.
