Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
– Psalms 23:5, KJV
The overflow is God’s desire for you. You have to discover your season of overflow by letting your lights shine before all men so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
When you begin to walk in the blessing of overflow, God’s blessing will begin to manifest in your life. David testified that his cup of blessing overflowed.
“And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham… Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great… And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much mightier than we.”
– Genesis 26:1-16, KJV
The manifestation of Isaac’s life was so inexplicable that the Philistines envied him. God’s covenant is greater than global economic conditions. Overflow is not a function of faith but the responsibility of constant giving.
Whenever there is an expectation of overflowing, giving accordingly is required.
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
– Luke 6:38, KJV.
Overflow can be expressed as more than enough. God is able to bless you to produce fruits in such overflowing measures that you will experience enviable and undeniable results like Isaac. The blessing that defied famine is overflow. May you enjoy the reality of an overflow.
I pray that in this season, God will give you creative ideas and multiple-fold opportunities to express the skills and talents He has deposited in your life and engrace you with the spirit of giving to walk in the reality of His overflow in the name of Jesus.
