Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

– James 5:16

God’s health covenant is already settled in heaven. Jesus paid for it with His blood. To enforce it means to bring what God has promised into your daily life by faith and obedience.

You enforce this covenant when you pray with faith, when you stand on God’s Word, and when you use the authority of the name of Jesus. You also enforce it when you forgive others, live in love, and keep a clean heart. These things keep the door open for God’s power.

Today, choose to agree with God about your health. Say, “I am redeemed from sickness. The life of God flows in my body.” Pray for others to walk in this covenant too. You are not a victim. You are a carrier of God’s healing power.

Insight: God’s health covenant is sure, and you enforce it by faith, prayer, and obedience.

Prayer: Lord, I receive and enforce Your health covenant in my life and in my family.
