Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
– Joshua 1:9
Fear, like a distracting force, can hinder our focus on God’s promises. Yet, in the face of uncertainties, the command from God echoes—be strong, be courageous. Distractions lose their grip when trust in God’s promises overshadows the grip of fear.
God reassures us through His word. He is our constant companion; there is no place He will not be because he is omniscient. Fear is a distraction. Choose faith over fear, and see distractions fade in the radiance of God’s promises. In faith, we find the courage to navigate every pursuit and every promise, depending solely on His unwavering presence.
Insight: Faith over fear is the choice that dispels distractions. Trust in God’s promises provides the courage to stay focused on His unwavering presence.
Prayer: Lord, instil in me a faith that triumphs over fear. Let my focus be unwavering in the light of Your promises.
