Daily Delight Devotional – Monday, July 17 2023

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

– 3 John 1:2, KJV

There is a destiny for every child of God to prosper. There is a right place of prosperity God has placed out for you in His sovereign programme. Everything you need to make it in life has been provided for you by God. The Bible is very clear on this:

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

– 2 Peter 1:3 KJV

Everything you need to live a godly life on Planet Earth had already been provided. When you give your life to Christ, this destiny package is activated and divine provisions are put in place to enable you to make a success of your life. Divinely and scripturally, you are not destined to be poor, whether spiritually, physically or materially. God wishes three levels of prosperity for you and until you excel in these three areas, you have not begun to prosper.

The Bible declares that:

For unto us, a child is born, unto us a son is given…

– Isaiah 9:6

The kingdom of God is a kingdom of sonship. When you become born-again, you become a child of the kingdom; your spiritual growth is what qualifies you to be a son. As you begin to prosper spiritually, God is set to cause your financial and physical prosperity. For you to live in sound health, you must be spiritually prosperous.

Insight: The reason so many believers are not living victorious lives is because they are still children. They have refused to grow and because of this, God cannot entrust the abundance of riches to them so that it will not destroy them.

Prayer: Father, prosper me to inherit your glory in every aspect of my life in the name of Jesus.
