Daily Delight Devotional – Sunday, June 18 2023

Nevertheless, l have somewhat against thee because thou hast left thy first love.

Revelation 2:4, KJV

The urgent need of the day is not simply revival but healing that will uproot the root of spiritual disease. Spiritual disease is growing cold and leaving the first love; turning away from God. Whosoever contacts spiritual disease will hear but not obey. S/He will lose interest in the Lord, the Bible, prayer, church fellowship, witnessing Jesus and turning toward the world.

Sometimes we find that a vibrant Christian today has fallen tomorrow; s/he has contracted a contagious spiritual disease. When you surrender your life to Christ, sins such as spiritual cancer will be defeated and more so, Jesus will be exalted higher than everything and your healing will be completed when you start worshipping God in spirit and truth.

Insight: Jesus can heal you today – spiritually, physically and morally.

Prayer: Father, every spiritual disease hindering my spiritual progress, dry up and disappear now in the name of Jesus.
