Daily Delight Devotional – Monday, July 14 2025

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

– Romans 10:17

God wants to guide us every day. He speaks through His Word, the Bible. When we listen to His Word, we grow in faith and understanding. It is not enough to just read or hear it. We must also do what it says.

Obedience shows that we trust God. When we obey His Word, we take the right steps in life. God will never guide you into what will harm you. His instructions may not always feel easy, but they are always good for you.

Each time you obey God’s Word, you are walking in His will. This is one way to stay in position for the promises He has made to you. If you want to grow and move forward, start by obeying what you already know is right.

Insight: The more you obey God’s Word, the clearer His voice becomes in your life.

Prayer: Lord, help me to hear your Word and obey it. Help me to trust you enough to do what you say. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
