Daily Delight Devotional – Tuesday, July 15 2025

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

– Hebrews 12:14

God wants us to live holy lives. Holiness means choosing what is right and staying away from what is wrong. It is a life that pleases God. God is holy, and He wants us to be like Him.

We cannot be close to God if we live in sin. Sin separates us from Him. But when we live holy lives, we stay close to God. This is how we stay in a position to receive from Him.

Living holy is not something we do by ourselves. God helps us. If we ask Him, He will help us to say no to sin and yes to what is right. He will help us grow every day.

Insight: Holiness keeps you connected to God. It makes your heart open to Him.

Prayer: Father, help me to live a holy life. Help me to do what is right and to stay close to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
