If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

– Luke 9:23

Following Jesus means putting aside your ego and pride. It means living for something greater than yourself. Real manhood is seen in daily surrender, not in daily show-off.

Jesus calls every man to deny himself. That means we say no to pride, selfishness, and worldly definitions of success. We take up the cross—living with purpose, patience, and love.

It is not always easy, but it is always worth it. Your strength is shown in your sacrifice, your love, and your faith. That is the mark of true manhood.

Insight: When you lay down your ego, you pick up purpose.

Prayer: Lord, I lay down my pride today. Help me to carry my cross daily and follow You with all my heart. Let my life reflect the strength of surrender. Amen.
