And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

– Philippians 2:8, KJV

What makes Jesus beautiful was His humility.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name

– Philippians 2:9, KJV

Humility is the opposite of pride and the Bible condemns pride throughout. To be humble means that one lowers himself to a level below where others think he should be. The humility of Jesus was his incarnation; becoming a man. Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus. Humility can lift you from a place of obscurity to a place of popularity and prominence. Pride is a very ugly thing that can destroy anything, but humility is a virtue that can take you to higher heights in the journey of life. Be humbled and be lifted to fulfil your life assignments.

Insight: Jesus humbled himself by taking the nature of a servant.

Prayer: Father, help me to humble myself to enjoy supernatural lifting in the name of Jesus.
