Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

– 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)

The mind is the place where thoughts and imaginations make their abode. The devil uses imagination and thoughts to introduce confusion and all kinds of physical and spiritual problems into the lives of men, women, and children. The Scripture tells us that we should look beyond the physical realm and focus on the spirit realm. What we experience while we walk in the flesh should not make us battle with our physical abilities. You have to resort to the use of spiritual weapons to deal with all negative strongholds attacking your mind. Definite efforts must be made towards casting down imaginations and capturing every thought until you subject the totality of what goes on in your mind to the obedience of Christ. You must not allow just any baggage to be deposited on the altar of your mind.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

– Philippians 4:8 (KJV)

Philippians 4:8 carefully outlines the kind of things you should allow in the territory of your mind. These things should be carefully weighed as they are the only things that would keep your mind healthy. Your mind will be purged by these things: honest, just, pure, lovely, good report, virtuous, praise-worthy, and true. That is the prescription to deal with mind contamination.

Insight: Meditation is very profitable and beneficial; it brings revelation, and when it does so, you will be guided right.

Prayer: Father, purge my mind from any form of frustration and evil imagination in the name of Jesus.
