Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

– 1 Timothy 4:12

Modelling Christ first is the cornerstone upon which a child’s spiritual growth is built. The best example to be is to live it out. It starts with what you say.

Understand that your words carry weight. Speak words of kindness, encouragement, and truth. Let your speech reflect the grace and love of Christ, becoming a source of inspiration for your children.

Don’t forget to demonstrate integrity in your actions. Your conduct, whether in moments of success or challenges, uptimes or downtimes, shapes your child’s understanding of Christian character. Be a living testament to the values you seek to instil.

Lastly, let love be the driving force in your family. Embrace forgiveness, patience, and compassion. Embodying Christ’s love. Create an environment where your child experiences the depth of God’s grace. As parents, our character serves as a blueprint for our children’s spiritual growth. By setting an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, we pave the way for them to follow the path of Christ.
