Daily Delight Devotional – Saturday, April 5, 2025

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

– Proverbs 3:5-6

Two major hindrances to favour are self-reliance and unforgiveness. When we trust in our strength rather than God’s wisdom, we limit what He can do. Likewise, holding onto offense blocks the flow of His grace.

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Surrender every burden to Him and let go of past hurts. Unforgiveness hinders blessings, but mercy attracts divine favour.

Today, ask God to help you trust Him completely and release any bitterness in your heart.

Insight: Favour flows in an atmosphere of surrender and forgiveness.

Prayer: Lord, I let go of self-reliance and past hurts. Teach me to trust You fully and walk in forgiveness. Amen.
