Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time, it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

Balak, the King of Moab was concerned because he had seen what the Israelites had done to the Amorites. So Balak attempted to hire Balaam to curse Israel. However, instead of cursing them, Balaam blessed them. Balaam had been using his strange power successfully against other people. However, when he tried to use it against God’s people who were in God’s will, all he could do was to bless them.

The enemy has many different strategies used to launch an attack and discouragement. His strategy is to get your eyes on the negative circumstances rather than focusing on the positive. Even in the Bible, the Philistines captured the Ark of the Covenant and took it to their temple. Their god, Dagon fell before it.

Don’t succumb to satanic strategies but prevail over them. God always brings victory because victory belongs to the Lord.

Insight: Always focus on the victory of the Lord.

Prayer: Father, forestall every plan and strategy of the enemy against me and my family in the name of Jesus.
