Pray Again – #WordForTheWeek

And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

– James 5:18

Elijah prayed to stop the rain, and he prayed again with passion to open up the heavens for rain. That is why we must pray again! Meanwhile, in the last three and a half years when there was no rain, Elijah had some great communion with God before he prayed again. He had become a man of faith.

Sometimes, every person needs to have a driving passion in their life. Individuals full of passion and drive are those who accomplish the impossible. Prayer remains a divine way to the supernatural. The Bible says, “Pray without ceasing.” Elijah’s prayer of faith hid him at Cherith, the same faith fed him in the famine at Zarephath, and faith also fought for him at Carmel. All these victories came to him in the middle of the dry season. The tenacity of your faith will always be built amidst life’s difficulties. When you pray again, God will do it again.

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

– Psalm 63:1

Don’t give up on fervent prayer because it is divinely prepared strength to keep you going and deliver your victory in hard times.

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

– Luke 18:1

By persevering in prayer, it may seem that you are alone, but rest assured that God will have something to show that will double your testimonies for His glory.

Pray again and be persistent in prevailing prayer because it gains momentum that God will pour out a blessing, a revival, a liberty in the Spirit, and a spiritual unction that you cannot contain.

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving

– Colossians 4:2

Pray again and again until you become whatever you wish to become by His grace. God can only help and bless you when you don’t give up on praying again. May the Lord grace you to break forth in prayer again in the name of Jesus. Amen.
