Prayer Is Your Oxygen – #DailyDelightDevotional

Daily Delight Devotional – Thursday, March 5, 2026

Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

— Luke 18:1

Fire needs oxygen to keep burning. Without oxygen, it dies. In the same way, prayer is the oxygen of your spiritual life. When you stop praying, your fire becomes weak.

Prayer is not only long hours on your knees. It is also short moments during the day. You can whisper prayers in your car, speak scriptures during lunch, and worship quietly before meetings. These small breaths keep your spirit alive.

If you want your fire to remain strong, build a daily prayer structure. Set a time that is non-negotiable. Consistency is more important than perfection.

Insight: A praying believer is a burning believer.

Prayer: Father, give me grace to pray daily and remain spiritually alive.

Daily Bible Reading: Luke 18:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Jude 20
